What is a contract?
A contract is an agreement, either written or spoken, between two or more parties that creates a legal obligation. As per Section 2(h) of the Contract Act, 1872, an agreement enforceable by law is a contract. For the formation of a contract, the process of proposal or offer by one party and the acceptance thereof by the other is necessary.
